Our 500 animals are raised under exceptional sanitary conditions, with one ambition: paving the way for animal-to-human organ transplantation. The report highlights the concrete challenges of xenotransplantation in France. It also showcases what XENOTHERA, at the heart of the XENOCURE consortium, is already developing today, notably its LIS1 antibody, administered during allografts to neutralize the immune system’s immediate response. It has received orphan drug designation in both the United States and Europe.
